Things to See & Do
There are many things to see and do in Scotland. From Golf Tours, Whisky & Castle Trails, to Wildlife watching, Historical sites and some of the most stunning scenery that Britain can offer. Apart from these, there is the North Coast 500 Route that meanders around stunning hills and beautiful unspoilt beaches. And there is the North East 250 Route enjoying views of the Cairngorms, woodlands and views over the beautiful Moray Firth, where you can often see seals and dolphins at play.
Golf Tours
The North east and Highlands of Scotland boasts many prestigious and championship golf courses. What better way to enjoy a golfing holiday than to hire a sports car to take you and your clubs. Flying into Aberdeen and picking up the Mazda MX-5 you could enjoy the demanding links Royal Aberdeen, the 6th oldest club in the world and the Trump International Golf Links. Follow the coastline through many small fishing villages and enjoy the rural landscape as you travel north to Moray and enjoy play on an abundance of local courses including Moray Old Course at Lossiemouth, Elgin and Garmouth & Kingston. Arriving at Inverness Airport a huge choice awaits: either travelling north up into the Highlands, home to Royal Dornoch Championship golf course or travel a short distance south to Castle Stuart, home of the Scottish Open and a short drive to two courses at Nairn. From Nairn an exhilarating drive up into the Cairngorms to enjoy play at Grantown on Spey, Spey Valley and Boat of Garten. Combine golf with the exhilaration of driving the Mazda Sports car for an unforgettable golfing trip.
Distillery Tours
Speyside is renowned as malt whisky country where some of the finest scotch whiskies in the world are distilled. Elgin is in the middle of the Spey Valley and is ideally located to pick up the sport car to drive around the various distilleries throughout the Moray and Highland region. From Strathisla, home of Chivas Regal, in Keith, up to Glenfiddich, a family owned distillery, in Dufftown and carrying on to The Aberlour and up to the remote distillery Glenlivet. Interesting distilleries … and even more interesting roads.
